We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a special family occasion at Platters Cafe and Bar in Diamond Creek recently, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were a large group of 23 people, and the team handled everything effortlessly. Communication was smooth and easy, and they made sure every detail was taken care of. The owners and staff were nothing short of fantastic — so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely to deal with. One of the most touching moments was when the owner went out of his way to buy my daughter a large gold helium balloon to celebrate her First Holy Communion. That level of personal care and thoughtfulness truly meant so much to our family. The meals were amazing — everyone raved about the food! My brother even said it was the best burger he's ever eaten, which is saying something! Every single person left happy, full, and impressed. We’re so grateful for the amazing hospitality and care shown to us on such an important day. Our entire family will definitely be back, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend Platters Cafe and Bar to anyone looking for great food, genuine service, and a place that truly values its customers. Great spot with super fresh ingredients and heaps of choices to suit everyone’s taste. Easy to place large orders, making it perfect for family gatherings, parties or work events. Reliable, tasty, and convenient every time!

Platters Café in Diamond Creek has such a warm, welcoming vibe — like a café lovingly run by mums or quick-witted church ladies serving delicious comfort food with real heart. The place was buzzing with people and had a wonderfully positive atmosphere, clearly a favourite spot in town. My only tiny let-down was that, because they were so busy, my coffee took a little while to arrive.

Giving Platters 5 Stars 1) had 2 Great Meals there - Mediterranean Root Veg Soup in mid 2024 To-day 27 May 2025 great hamburger with The Lot with chips 2) Why Platters gets 5 Stars after 2 visits. They remembered my name from almost 12 months earlier. Unbelievable. I am not a local to Diamond Creek. In fact, very rarely go there - I live over 60 minutes away. The staff are friendly. Customers at tables happily chatter away. The meals I've had were delicious. Thank you

Breakfast done right at Platters Café, Diamond Creek We ordered a sweet & savoury combo and honestly, it was the best decision ever. The French toast came out golden and fluffy, topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, blueberries, a dusting of icing sugar, and served with ice cream, whipped cream, and syrup on the side – pure indulgence! On the savoury side, the chicken with creamy mushroom sauce was packed with flavour, perfectly paired with crispy golden fries and a fresh garden salad. A wholesome balance of comfort food and freshness. The vibe? Warm, cozy, and super welcoming – the perfect spot for a weekend brunch date or catch-up with friends, family and also dog friendly. And the service? Absolutely lovely – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re ever around Diamond Creek, Platters Café is a must-try.

Friendly local atmosphere. Great to see the locals out in force at this cafe. Serves all day breakfast, lunch and a dinner menu with an assortment of baked goods and sandwiches also available. I was here for lunch - Food was reasonable. The BBQ bacon and beef burger was filling but I found the patty quite dry and too thick for my liking. The condiments were good though! the great service and friendly banter exchanged with one of the servers made this an enjoyable experience!

Had a fantastic brunch with a friend at Platters this morning, we got a very comfy booth with soft seats. The food here is amazing.
